The Pentair UltraTemp HXi heat pump automatically heats or cools your pool according to the desired temperature. It adapts to outdoor conditions to ensure optimum bathing comfort while minimising energy consumption.
Equipped with full-inverter technology, the new Pentair UltraTemp HXi heat pump delivers powerful, yet quiet, performance, thanks to the combination of a variable speed compressor and fan motor. They adjust their speed automatically following the operating mode selected by the user via the colour touchscreen or optional app.

Titanium Threaded Heat Exchanger
Provides maximum corrosion/erosion resistance, and improves heat transfer efficiency by up to 30%. Its rotating water flow also improves descale ability.
Multi-function Modes
Switches mode between heating and cooling and offers auto defrost by changing the refrigerant flow path.
Electronic Expansion Valve
The EEV supports automatic adjustment of refrigerant flow rate and makes the system work under optimized conditions for the purpose of fast heating and energy saving. The EEV is better than capillary tube.
Coloured LCD Touchscreen
Easy to use and intuitive design for easy programming. Clear digital display for better visibility. Control module can either be wall-mounted or free standing.
Colour-coded Ports
Comes in very easy to identify coloured ports. BLUE for the cold water inlet and RED for the warm water outlet.
Electroplated Condenser
Repels water for quick defrosting, corrosion protection and accelerates the evaporation rate improving heat transfer efficiency.
Wi-Fi Module
Every unit comes with a Wi-Fi module. Uses ‘Handy-Heat app which allows you to control the unit anywhere in the world. Module cable can be extended to improve signal range.
Plastic/Metal Enclosure
Made of rust-proof ABS top front panels and powder- coated steel rear panel for protecting delicate screen fins.

Features:
- Pentair heat pumps transfer heat from the air into the pool using only a fraction of the energy required to heat the pool directly.
- The UltraTemp HXi heat pump offers best in class efficiency with COP (coefficient of performance) ratings far in excess of standard heat pumps.
- The UltraTemp HXi heat pumps feature variable speed compressors and fan motors (full inverter). These operate at reduced speed when full power is not required, cutting electricity costs and noise.

Ventilation Requirements:
The diagram displays the minimum outdoor ventilation area required for optimum performance.
However, each installation must also be evaluated, taking into account the prevailing local conditions such as proximity and height of walls, and proximity to public access areas. The UltraTemp Heat Pump must be placed to provide clearances on all sides for maintenance and inspection.
Water Chemistry Requirements:
Proper chemical balances are necessary for sanitary bathing conditions as well as ensuring your heat pump’s long life. Be sure to keep your chemical and mineral concentration levels within the values indicated in the table below. Failure to maintain proper water chemistry may cause damage to the UltraTemp Heat Pump.

Guarantee against cabinet failure due to environmental factors when installed in accordance with UltraTemp owner’s manual. Does not include physical damage caused by external causes. Does not include discolouration. - 5 years: Compressors.
Guarantee against manufacturing defects. - 3 years: Refrigeration circuit
Guarantee against manufacturing defects on refrigeration circuit and components. Does not include temperature sensors or limit switches, as these are replaceable components. - 3 years: Parts.
